HumanNet-plus is an enhanced version of the original HumanNet interactome,
which integrates over 850,000 cell-type-specific co-expression links
inferred from single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) data using the scNET framework.
This integration significantly improves the interactome's ability to predict
disease-associated genes, particularly those linked to specific cell types,
by incorporating context-specific interactions that were previously overlooked in traditional, bulk-tissue-derived networks.
The integration of these cell-type-specific links provides a more comprehensive and
accurate representation of gene interactions, advancing the field of network medicine.
Here, we present 100 CGNs integrated with the HumanNet interactome.
